So my drawing board has been dusted off, the cat bed moved away from the 'creative area' and I am ready to...paint, create, talk, share, have fun?
I'm not sure yet. I'm new at this blog stuff.

I am an artist, although not quite a starving one, thank goodness. Normally,
I work in watercolor and/or colored pencil (Hereafter known as WC or CP, respectively) and my subject matter focuses on our beloved four-footed friends, although I have been known to try my hand at a still- life or two...

Having been inspired by artist Nicole Caulfield and her lovely CP technique,
I thought I'd try it. She uses CP on Pastelbord, which is similar to drawing on stiff sandpaper....strange at first but fun and limitless!

New blog, new technique, a day of firsts...and here is my first posting;

This little colored pencil piece originally was planned for a Halloween reveal, but technical difficulties got in the way. Here is "Black is BOO-tiful", and it is offered for sale (see below)

Enjoy :-) and thanks for the visit!

~Kim
